PORCELAIN STONEWARE
At Ptoral we recommend porcelain tile.
Porcelain stoneware applied on floors is characterised by its hardness and resistance, with a very low water absorption, 0.5%, which is a breakthrough in terms of ceramic material.
There are two types of porcelain stoneware:
Technical or compact porcelain stoneware: It is more similar to a stone, it is a homogeneous mass.
Glazed porcelain stoneware: As its name suggests, it has a vitrified glaze and its finishes imitate wood, metal, natural stone…
With porcelain stoneware, underfloor heating can be installed without any problem.
